Anna (Lisa Kitchens) and Hattie (Renika Williams) share an intimate moment as they are held in the basement of the jail, waiting on a decision from Anna's father (the sheriff) about what will happen next.
This play is set in the year 1944 and is part of a trilogy that begins in 1844 with No Ma'am, Never. All three plays incorporate the same three female characters but as they might appear in three different centuries. The final play of the trilogy will take place in 2044.
To see a bit more on No Ma'am Never, please take a look at the SHOTZ page. The idea for this trilogy was initiated by a Shotz production of No Ma'am Never in November 2015 in the performance of Amios' Shotz from the Crypt.

Scarlett (Emily Kitchens) confronting her sister, Anna (Lisa Kitchens):
"Am I not your sister? I know what I saw...wasn't you. It isn't who we are. This thing I saw you doing and with one of them. Why one of them?"
